CINNABAR THEATER COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

The health and safety of our performers and staff remain our highest priority. Plans for all youth in
person activities will follow county and state guidelines to help protect all who participate.
Click the link below to find a summary of actions we are taking to help ensure we are lowering COVID19 risk as
much as possible.

About Young Rep

Cinnabar Theater is committed to training young people in the performing arts to make a lasting and meaningful connection between the arts and their daily lives. We see the impact theater has on kids every day. It teaches empathy and responsibility. It fosters creativity, teamwork and leadership. It creates community.

Our Young Repertory was founded in 1983 to counteract the precipitous decline in arts funding for public schools. Over the years, we’ve served thousands of students and are enormously proud that no child is ever turned away for lack of funds.

The Young Rep serves youth of all ages, from 4-year-olds who are just starting pre-school to 18-year-olds finishing high school. We offer fully-produced shows, fun summer camps, after-school classes, Broadway-level seminars, ticket discounts, and community service opportunities. Everything takes place in the iconic red schoolhouse perched atop a grassy hill on the outskirts of Petaluma, and in our new "Studio Space" located at the Petaluma Outlet Mall.

How to get involved in Young Rep

GET DISCOUNTED TICKETS
We want to make theatergoing a lifelong habit, so we offer frequent discounts for youth. Tickets for professional shows are usually $15 or $25, but they can be had for just 9 bucks for our community-building *Friday Night Live events.

*Friday Night Live is on hiatus due to COVID-19, but we look forward to bringing it back in the future.

VOLUNTEER
As a nonprofit organization, Cinnabar depends on volunteers to serve our community. Whether you’re a child, a teen, or a grown-up, we welcome your assistance.

GET ON THE LIST
Sign up below for our email list and receive timely emails about upcoming events, classes, camps and show registrations.

TEACH
We’re always looking for talented teachers, directors, and choreographers who can inspire and guide our students.

MAKE A DONATION
We’re enormously proud of our Young Rep. But the more children we serve, the more it costs. Ticket sales and tuitions only pay half our expenses for these programs! Through individual donors and corporate partnerships, we can continue these important activities for local families. As a nonprofit and an integral part of our close-knit community for four decades, we deeply appreciate your generosity.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Cinnabar Theater is proud to offer work - trade scholarships to those families who are unable to afford the tuition for its programs. The intent of the Scholarship Program is to give opportunities to youth who may not otherwise be able to afford it. Scholarships may be limited for some programs, but Cinnabar Theater will award as many as it is able.  For more information, click the info and application button below.
