Cinnabar Theater Announces 2026/27 Season General Auditions

Cinnabar Theater is pleased to invite performers to audition for our 2026/27 season. This upcoming lineup offers a dynamic mix of beloved musicals, powerful drama, and family-friendly theater, and we’re excited to meet artists ready to bring these stories to life.

Season Productions

Auditions will be held for the following productions:

  • Bye Bye Birdie, Sept. 18 - Oct 4

  • The Wizard of Oz, Jan. 22 - Feb. 7

  • If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (Theatre for Young Audiences), Feb. 20 - 28,

  • The Crucible, April 9 - 25

  • Urinetown The Musical, June 11 - 27

Audition Details

Date: Saturday, April 25

Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Location: Cinnabar Theater Rehearsal Space

Petaluma Outlet Mall, Suite #415

What to Prepare

For Musicals (Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz, Urinetown):

  • One 1-minute monologue

  • 32 bars of a Broadway-style song

For Plays (The Crucible, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie):

  • Two contrasting 1-minute monologues

What to Bring

  • Two hard copies of your headshot and resume

  • Sheet music in the appropriate key, with cuts clearly marked

  • An accompanist will be provided

Eligibility

These auditions are open to performers ages 16 and up.
