Cinnabar Theater Announces 2026/27 Season General Auditions
Cinnabar Theater is pleased to invite performers to audition for our 2026/27 season. This upcoming lineup offers a dynamic mix of beloved musicals, powerful drama, and family-friendly theater, and we’re excited to meet artists ready to bring these stories to life.
Season Productions
Auditions will be held for the following productions:

The Wizard of Oz, Jan. 22 - Feb. 7

If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (Theatre for Young Audiences), Feb. 20 - 28,

Audition Details
Date: Saturday, April 25
Time: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Cinnabar Theater Rehearsal Space

What to Prepare
For Musicals (Bye Bye Birdie, The Wizard of Oz, Urinetown):

One 1-minute monologue
-
32 bars of a Broadway-style song
For Plays (The Crucible, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie):

Two contrasting 1-minute monologues
What to Bring
-
Two hard copies of your headshot and resume
-
Sheet music in the appropriate key, with cuts clearly marked
-
An accompanist will be provided
Eligibility
These auditions are open to performers ages 16 and up.
