One-Week Camps | Registration Opens at NOON on February 9
Summer fun, creativity, and confidence-building are just around the corner! Cinnabar Theater’s beloved Summer Camps are back with six exciting one-week sessions designed to spark imagination, build performance skills, and make new friends.
All camps run 9am–2pm, Monday–Friday
Tuition: $340 per camp
Each camp ends with a fun, low-pressure “Share-formance” for family
ONE WEEK CAMPS
Broadway Rocks!
Unleash your inner rockstar with a week of energy, attitude, and powerful sound!
In this week-long ensemble-based camp, students will focus on building fundamental musical theater skills while collaborating on songs and scenes from rock n’ roll musicals. Featuring numbers from Broadway hits like School of Rock, Head Over Heels, and Rock of Ages, this camp will give every student a chance to wail, belt, dance, and jump!
Experienced teaching artists will guide our young actors through choreography, vocal, and staging rehearsals – with lots of fun and games along the way!
At the end of this camp session, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small “Share-formance”.

Harry Potter and the Wizards of Petaluma
This annual favorite is back again! Hop aboard the Knight Bus – or your flying Ford Anglia - and transport yourself to the town of Potter-luma, where a whole new magical adventure awaits! Inspired by the stories of the boy wizard and his magical journey, students will spend a week crafting magical artifacts, mixing potions, playing Quidditch, and competing in friendly challenges for the Triwizard Cup! At the ancient but secretive Cinnabar Magic Academy, students will play theater games and stretch their creative muscles as they write the story of their own original character from the wizarding world! No theatrical experience is necessary, but to get the most out of this class, students should be familiar with the Harry Potter books, as we will be using them as a jumping-off point into our magical world. Signups accepted by post-owl, or via our website on the muggle internet.
Campers will present a short skills and activities demonstration during the final hour of the last day of camp. Close family and friends are welcome to join us for this low-pressure, open-house-style "Shareformance".

Musical Zoo-sical!
Fun is the name of the game at Musical Zoo-sical Camp, as we dance, play, and sing! This camp features music and inspiration from Broadway shows like “The Lion King”, “Cats”, and “Tarzan”, and hit movies like “Sing!”, “The Jungle Book”, and “Zootopia”!
Each day will be a new adventure as we learn dances, sing songs, and work together on show-stopping numbers!
MUSICAL ZOO-SICAL camp is all about cooperation, compassion, and caring, and is perfect for our youngest campers. Come and make some music and some new friends! At the end of the camp week, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small “Share-formance”.

Jedi Academy
Join us for an incredible adventure in a galaxy not-so-far away! Wield your lightsaber in defense of good and order (and maybe a little bit of chaos, as well), and learn the ways of the Force! At our Jedi Academy, our young actors will create and roleplay their own unique character from the Star Wars universe. Guided by teaching artists well-versed in the both the dramatic and Jedi arts, students will practice basic stage-combat, develop back-stories for their characters, and act out scenes and encounters from the universe of this Sci-Fi/Fantasy classic.
At the end of the camp week, our Padawans will have a chance to demonstrate the skills they learned and stories they created in a small “Share-formance” for friends and family.

Karaoke Dance Party
Join us for a week of games, singing, dance, and fun!
Young performers can cut loose and raise their voices in a week filled with music and movement! Guided by seasoned theater professionals, students will pick popular and classic songs to practice in groups (with some optional solos for those who want some extra time in the spotlight). Along the way, we’ll play lots of fun games that reinforce theater fundamentals and acting skills. This class is a great way for performers to develop confidence, coordination, and creative physical expression.
At the end of the camp week, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.

Magical Musicals!
Fun and friendship await in this week of musical performances from magical worlds! Guided by experienced and enthusiastic theater professionals, our students will practice their performance skills while learning songs and scenes from Wicked, Matilda, Aladdin, Frozen, and more! This camp is a great way for performers to develop confidence, practice collaboration, and enjoy creative expression.
At the end of the camp week, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small “Share-formance”.

DRAMA LAB

For actors ages 7-12
Cinnabar's "Drama Lab" summer camp offers weeks packed with theatrical action! Every week of this three-week camp is filled with games and exercises designed and led by theater professionals who love working with the next generation of performance artists.
This camp provides a fun path to a firm foundation in the core skills of drama and musical theater: ACTING, SINGING, and DANCE! Each day's schedule includes practice of scenes, vocal music, and choreography. Participants will pick one emphasis at the start of each week, but can choose to spend time on all three of these core skills throughout the camp.
Each of the three weeks of this camp will also feature special guest artists and mini-masterclasses on other aspects of theater, such as MAKEUP, IMPROV, SHAKESPEARE, SOUND, LIGHTING & PROP DESIGN, and FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY!
Each week of this three-week camp will culminate in a fun, low-pressure "Share-formance" on Friday during the last hour of camp*. Parents and close friends or family are invited to attend this skills demonstration and celebrate the work and learning that the kids have done during the week.
All three weeks of camp will provide training on Acting, Singing, and Dance. Each week will also have a special emphasis, with one or more workshops highlighting special theater skills.
Week 1 (June 29-July 3) -- Voice, Movement, and Improv!
Week 2 (July 6-10) -- Combat, Dance, and Makeup!
Week 3 (July 13-17) -- Production and Performance!
*This camp is being offered both as a 3-week block (best price!) and as individual weeks. For families of students attending the entire 3-week camp, we recommend attending the Share-formance on the final Friday, July 18 -- but you can come to all of them if you want!
GREASE (School Edition)
Cinnabar Theater Youth Performance Summer Camp
Tell me more, tell me more… about the hottest summer camp in town!
Cinnabar Theater invites young performers to rock the stage in our 4-week Youth Summer Performance Camp, culminating in a fully staged production of GREASE (School Edition). Campers will sing, dance, act, and collaborate in a joyful, high-energy theatrical experience they’ll never forget!
