How We’re Bringing the Magic on the Road

At Cinnabar, we’ve always believed that theater isn’t just about a building — it’s about people, storytelling, and the energy we create together in a shared space. And right now, that space is changing. While we work toward building our future home, we’re hitting the road and bringing the magic of Cinnabar to two incredible new stages: Sonoma State University and Petaluma SRJC.

So what does that mean for you — our audience, our students, our community?

It means the same unforgettable performances, just in new and exciting venues.

The Road Begins at Sonoma State

This fall, we’re proud to return our main stage season at Sonoma State University’s Warren Theatre — a beautiful, fully-equipped space that gives us room to dream bigger. Our production of Bright Star is coming up, and we’re pulling out all the stops: lush music, heartfelt storytelling, and a cast of Cinnabar favorites and fresh faces alike.

We’re working closely with Sonoma State to ensure a seamless experience — from lights and sound to set construction and accessibility. 

Young Rep Finds Temporary Home at Petaluma SRJC

Our beloved Young Rep program is also returning for another season to SRJC’s Carole L. Ellis Auditorium in Petaluma. This space gives our young performers a chance to shine on a larger stage, with full professional tech support and room for more families, friends, and first-time theatergoers to join us.

We can’t wait for you to see Head Over Heels like you’ve never seen it before — with all the heart, humor, and hometown pride you expect from a Cinnabar Young Rep show.
