We are thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of Cinnabar Theater.

Cinnabar is proud to announce that Brett Strader has been appointed to the newly created position of Resident Musical Director.

Brett is a deeply respected music director, conductor, and musician whose breadth of experience and commitment to the theatrical art form are extraordinary. His work spans professional regional theater, community theater, and educational settings, where he has earned a reputation for musical excellence, clarity of leadership, and a profound understanding of how music serves storytelling on stage. Brett brings not only exceptional technical skill, but also a generosity of spirit and collaborative approach that elevates every room he enters.

This new role reflects Cinnabar’s ongoing commitment to artistic growth and excellence. We are incredibly fortunate to welcome an artist of Brett’s caliber into the heart of our organization. As Resident Musical Director, Brett will work closely alongside Artistic Director Nathan Cummings to continue raising the musical and artistic bar across our productions, educational programs, and future seasons.

Audiences can experience Brett’s work immediately as he currently serves as Music Director and performance pianist for our upcoming production of MY FAIR LADY, a glorious, classic musical that perfectly showcases his artistry. We are equally excited to welcome Harpist, Krista Strader Brett's amazing talented wife who will be playing alongside him for this production. These two talented musicians should not be missed.
