Now Casting: Ken Ludwig’s Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood at Cinnabar Theater!

Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma, CA, is seeking Non-Equity actors for our upcoming production of Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood, directed by Zachary Hasbany. This fast-paced, action-packed retelling of the Robin Hood legend is full of comedy, sword fights, and adventure.

Key Dates:

•Auditions: Saturday, April 26 | 1:30 - 5:00 PM

• First Rehearsal: July 28

•Performances: Sep 12 - Sep 28 (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays)

Seeking Actors for All Roles (all actors play multiple roles):

•Robin Hood – Charismatic and heroic leader of the outlaws.

•Maid Marian – The best archer in England, noble and independent.

•Friar Tuck – The narrator, a warrior and guide.

•Deorwynn – A fiery young woman affected by tyranny.

•Little John – Nottingham’s strongest fighter with a heart of gold.

•Sir Guy of Gisbourne – The ruthless Earl of Nottingham.

•Sheriff of Nottingham – A cowardly enforcer of tyranny.

•Prince John – The self-absorbed usurper of the English throne.

Audition Prep:

•Bring a current headshot and resume.

•Prepare a contemporary comedic monologue (max 2 minutes).

•Be ready to read a scene from the play.

•Stage combat experience is a plus but not required.

•Musicians (guitar, flute, violin, recorder, etc.) encouraged to audition.
