Silly fun is the name of the game as we dance, play, and most importantly SING! in this fun filled camp featuring music and inspiration from the hit movies Sing! And Sing 2. Each day will be a new adventure as we learn dances, form bands, troupes, and combos, and work together on show-stopping numbers. Sing! Camp is all about team building, camaraderie, compassion and caring, and is perfect for our youngest campers. Come and make some new friends; come and SING! At the end of this session students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.

This annual favorite is back again! Hop aboard the Knight Bus – or your flying Ford Anglia - and transport yourself to the town of Potter-luma, where a whole new magical adventure awaits! Inspired by the stories of the boy wizard and his magical journey, students will spend a week crafting magical artifacts, playing Quidditch, and competing in friendly challenges for the Triwizard Cup! At the ancient but secretive Cinnabar Magic Academy, students will play theater games and stretch their creative muscles as they write the story of their own original character from the wizarding world! No theatrical experience is necessary, but to get the most out of this class, students should be familiar with the Harry Potter books, as we will be using them as a jumping-off point into our magical world. Bonjour! Magic, music, and crazy characters abound at Cinnabar’s “Beauty and the Beast” summer camp! In this week-long ensemble-based camp, students will focus on building fundamental musical theater skills while putting together several group songs and scenes. Experienced teaching artists will guide our young actors through choreography, vocal, and staging rehearsals – with lots of fun and games along the way! At the end of this camp session students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance. Be our guest, and join us in this fun retelling of a tale as old as time!

Join us for an incredible adventure in a galaxy not-so-far away! Wield your lightsaber in defense of good and order, and learn the ways of the Force! At our Jedi Academy, our young actors will create and roleplay their own unique character from the Star Wars universe. Guided by teaching artists well-versed in the both the dramatic and Jedi arts, students will practice basic stage-combat, develop back-stories for their characters, and act out scenes and encounters from the universe of this Sci-Fi/Fantasy classic. At the end of the camp week, our Padawans will have a chance to demonstrate the skills they learned and stories they created in a small “Share-formance” for friends and family. Join us for a week jam-packed with comedy, drama, dance, music, and all things “showbiz”! Guided by seasoned theater professionals, students will practice acting, multiple dance styles, and plenty of singing! Along the way, we’ll play lots of fun games that reinforce theater fundamentals and acting skills. This class is a great way for performers to develop confidence, coordination, and creative physical expression. At the end of the camp week, students will show what they have learned for parents and family in a small Share-formance.
4-week Summer Performance Camp
CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
An outrageous ensemble musical with plenty of delicious roles for actors of all ages and experience levels, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is your golden ticket to an amazing summer!
The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other zany golden ticket winners – along with their equally wacky guardians -- will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination, where they encounter chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features an original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by David Greig. The score also pays homage to the Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley score from the 1971 film with songs from the motion picture including "Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination."
Four performances for each camp
- Performing on a full set with lights, props, and costumes

- 90+ camp hours over four weeks, including performances (that’s about $7.50 an hour)
