In Person 2021 Summer Camps

Mythological Mayhem and Mangled Greek Myths!

What if Hades was a used car salesman instead of king of the underworld? Ever wonder what the snakes on Medusa’s head talk about? What about a sitcom about two gods who must be roommates and what would you do if you came face-to-face with a Minotaur? Myth mashup’s come alive as we put a modern spin on the Greek gods in the action-packed weeklong camp. This is a great early exposure to mythology, improv and character analysis. The final day of camp will include a share-formance for parents and family.

Harry Potter & the Amazing Petaluma Acting Adventure

It wouldn’t be summer at Cinnabar without a Harry Potter camp. Back by popular demand! We jump back into Potterville with a whole new adventure. Inspired by the stories of the boy wizard and his magical journey, students will create an original story about the world of Hogwarts. Students will write, design, and craft an original character using the Harry Potter stories as reference. No theatrical experience is necessary but to get the most out of this class student should be familiar with the Harry Potter books as we will be using them as a jumping off point into our magical world. Dementors need not enroll. The final day of camp will include a share-formance for parents and family.

COVID-19 Update

We are incredibly excited and optimistic that our 2021 summer camp offerings will be back to a traditional manner of present group theater fun that takes place both inside and out on the Cinnabar campus. The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is paramount. If we need to adjust how we present these camps, we will do so using experience, common sense and, most importantly, the guidelines set forth by public health.
