SonoMusette
THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA’S AMBASSADORS OF FRENCH CHANSON
SONOMUSETTE recaptures the moody, melancholic sound and spirit of 20th Century Paris. French chanteuse, musette accordion, guitar, piano, upright bass and drum kit combine to revive the enchanting and evocative songs of the era.
This music has retained its power to charm and transport listeners, and SonoMusette taps that nostalgia with artistry in both vocals and instrumentation. Inspired by the performers of the era, such as Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Charles Aznavour and Django Reinhardt, along with contemporary artists such as Zaz and Patrick Bruel, SonoMusette brings French Chanson to the “moderne” era.
Featuring Mimi Pirard (vocals), Isaac Vandeveer (guitar and bass), Jan Martinelli (upright bass & piano), Richard Andrews (drums) and Robert Lunceford (accordion)
