Deep in their hideout high in the french Pyrenees, a band of thieving brigands is about to embark on the biggest burglary of their career. Led by the fearless Falsacappa, and his beloved daughter Fiorella, a plan is hatched to acquire 3 million francs! Of course, to pull it off the band will have to intercept a royal wedding, don a host of disguises, and play the part of Spanish royalty in the Italian court—all this without losing their cool. Perhaps they’ve bit off more than they can chew...after all, the biggest thieves aren’t always hiding in the forests. Suffused with light social satire and Offenbach’s bubbly music. |
