Comics Stripped
Comics Stripped is a hybrid between NPR’s This American Life and Woody Allen’s Broadway Danny Rose. Host Dave Pokorny picks the theme for guest artists to riff on. Laugh your way through the evening and also hear the behind the scene musings of being a stand-up comic. Please note that some acts are not suitable for children.
Stand up Comedy
Guffaws galore! Don’t drive to the city to see stand up comedy! Cinnabar has some of the best artists right here. Many top rated comedians preview their new acts before taking it to major cities. You can benefit and see them at a fraction of their normal ticket price. Please note that some acts are not suitable for children.
Improv
Dinosaurs of Improv are: Debi Durst, Michael Bossier, Diane Amos, Judi Nihei, Jim Cranna, Dan Spencer, Chris Pray, Bill Bonham, and Dick Bright. You may seen these performers in various improv groups throughout the Bay Area including: The Committee, Spaghetti Jam, The Comedy Underground, Femprov, and the National Theatre of the Deranged. They formed the group because they are the oldest people still doing this kind of improv and still get along! They had a short run at the legendary Purple Onion in SF, and perform occassionally at the 142 Throckmorton in Mill Valley. Now you can see them here every month!
Cinnabar Choral Ensembles
In a world where music is often background noise there is a decadent pleasure in sitting quietly and relishing music for its own sake. Allow yourself to be transported to other worlds as the notes wrap themselves gently around your heart.
Summer Music Festival (SMF)
